Content of this workshop will include:

  • Cash, the lifeblood of the business - Cash flow statements and forecasts, and how to keep money in your own business for longer.
  • “Sales are vanity, profit’s sanity”.  What is profit and what is the difference between cash and profit?
  • Balance sheets – the first step in valuing your business.  How to use it and how it’s viewed by investors, lenders, suppliers and customers.
  • How and why do public sector buyers analyse your accounts?  What might stop you getting past the first tendering stage?
